Issue Tracking


The Task Tree may contain any type of issues like defects, change requests, tasks or support requests. Templates are provided for the most common types.



Classic Issue Tracking


Status fields are traditionally used to move an issue further to the next step. Some issue tracking tools support actions that can be performed by a group of users to change the value of a status field.



Standard Issue Tracking


Project Engine is the only tool on the market today that also support tree structured issue templates.

Tree structured issues gives a better overview of the workflow. Now you may easily see all steps performed and the result of each step.



Custom Fields


Each type of issue may have up to 30 custom fields. A custom field can contain text, number, date, time, users, options or multi line text.



Status Fields


An issue may have any number of status fields. A status field may not be changed directly like custom fields. Actions are used for changing the state of a status field. Some actions may be restricted to a certain type of users.
